Accountis Supports Launch of UBL (Version 1.0) as Oasis Standard
08.11.04: The Oasis international standards consortium today announced that its members have approved the Universal Business Language (UBL) version 1.0 as an OASIS Standard, a status that signifies the highest level of ratification. As a Member of Oasis, Accountis fully welcomes this approval and looks forward to promoting and developing UBL as the de facto standard for electronic financial document exchange.
Resolution Holdings Choose Accountis for Paperless Direct Debits
04.11.04: CPI Services, the insurance arm of Resolution Holdings have used the Accountis Core Platform with BACSactive-IP to dramatically speed up their direct debit process. Simon Roland of Resolution Holdings said, "We wanted to reduce the amount of time our CSR's spent manually setting up direct debit mandates. Now, customers can do it themselves online, saving us time and money. Thales and Accountis Enable Conwy Council to make Early BACSTEL-IP Migration
26.10.04: Thales and Accountis today announced that Conwy County Borough Council is using their combined solutions for BACS payment submissions. Through the implementation of the Thales PaySentry hardware security module (HSM) and Accountis BACSactive-IP, Conwy Council is taking the lead in migrating to the new highly regarded BACSTEL-IP service. As such it is benefiting from increased security and flexibility of BACSTEL-IP, as well as the automation of time consuming manual processing and associated cost savings.

Accountis Releases Evaluation HSM Kit
12.08.04: Accountis' support for the digital signing and encryption of critical financial documents and payment instructions has just been extended by the introduction of an Evaluation Kit for Hardware Security Modules (HSM). Companies considering the adoption of HSMs over software or smart-card based digital certificates can now use the Evaluation Kit before committing to purchasing and deploying HSMs in their production environment.
